Hi! I'm Sarah, the quilter behind Feather and Flint Quilts.  I'm a mom, a wife, and a creative quilter.

Quilting became an insatitiable interest starting in 2015.  At that time, I started working from home and with the long commute taken away from my day, I had more time in my evenings to spend on hobbies.  I became fascinated with quilting mainly because of the beautiful fabrics.  As I started making quilt tops, I began the process of trying to top stitch on my domestic machine.  Because I was not pleased with the results, in 2016 I purchased a Handiquilter Simply Sixteen.  Since then, I've completed numerous hand guided and custom quilted designs.  I have recently purchased a computerized system and am excited to be able to offer edge to edge quilting.
 

Quilts are endlessly interesting.  When I think of the quilts I have made, not only do I remember the process of creating the quilt but I also recollect the events that took place in my life while I was making it.  I know that your quilt has a story, too. I look forward to getting to know you and want to find out what I can do to add a few more "chapters" to the story of your quilt.
